  5. Requirements: Macintosh Plus or better (Macintosh II preferred), 
  6. 1 MByte RAM, color screen supported, MultiFinder compatible, 
  7. LaserWriter or ImageWriter.  A version for MS-Windows 3.0 will 
  8. be available in 1991.

  13. A  Bug fixes:
  14.   1.  Tiled windows fixed on small screens.  When a small-screen Mac is
  15.       used, the vertical overlap of tiled windows is adjusted so that
  16.       window refresh is correct.

  18.   2.  Signal Synthesizer ("New" in File Menu)
  19.         Noise is now normally distributed.
  20.         Gaussian and Lorentzian widths are now full-width at
  21.            half maximum (FWHM).

  28.   1.  Transformation menu:

  30.          a. Group points by 2s
  31.             Halves the number of points in a signal by averaging
  32.             pairs of adjacent points.  Use to thin oversampled
  33.             signals.

  35.          b. Bridge segment...
  36.             Replaces any specified segment of a signal with a 
  37.             straight line.  Rubber-band cursor can be used to 
  38.             specify segment.  Used to remove spikes and artifacts.
  39.             Can be used to remove peaks from a background in 
  40.             order to allow the background to be curve-fit or 
  41.             smoothed for later subtraction.

  43.   2.  Window menu:
  44.        Set Y axis range... allow direct setting of any arbitrary
  45.          Y axis limits.
  46.        Rubberband cursor mode additionally reports Δx and Δy.

  49.       Antilog (replaces Square) computes common antilog of signal.
